Windows Vista 16 bitars miljö

Hur får man svenskt tangentbord i 16 bitars miljö under Windows Vista?

För att testa 16 bitars miljön under Windows Vista kan man först starta en kommandoprompt. Från kommandoraden i kommandoprompten använder man sedan kommandot command för att starta 16 bitars kommandofönstret. Om man där provar att skriva Å, Ä eller Ö så som standard så fungerar inte detta utan det är engelskt tangentbord.

Det som styr 16 bitars miljön är två filer, autoexec.nt och config.nt. Båda dessa ligger i system32 katalogen dvs normal i c:\windows\system32. För att redigera dessa använder man fördel 16 bitars programmet edit.exe. Längst ner i autoexec.nt lägger man till kb16, sv och så får man svensk tangentbord. Det hela skulle kunna se ut enligt nedan.
